Parking Information
Parking is also not so easy. But:
On the weekend and after hours on weekdays,
it is possible to park at some of the MIT lots without a permit:
The CRA Lot on the corner of Main and Ames Streets.
The Hayward Lot on Hayward Street (the lot, not the garage).
The N10 Lot on Albany St between Osborn and Portland.
The East Lot on Main Street between Ames and Vassar.
The Pacific Lot on the corner of Albany and Pacific streets.
The Sloan Lot on Main street near Wadsworth St.
The Windsor Lot on the corner of State and Windsor streets.
The Tang Center Lot on Amherst St near Wadsworth St.

If you don't have luck there, there are always pay public lots:
The Mass Ave and vassar St Lot.
The Kinney System Lot at 4 Cambridge Center on Ames or Broadway.
The Kinney System Lot at 10 Cambridge Center on Binney Street.
The University Park lot at Green and Sidney Streets.

Finally, there are various metered and nonmetered on-street spaces:
On Mass Ave in Main Campus,
On Vassar St in Main Campus,
On Memorial Drive in Main Campus,
and on Vassar St in West Campus.
